Fabulous meal on Saturday 24th Jan. Family birthday. As always excellent service, staff are great - pleasant, friendly, and very helpful, nothing is any trouble. Quality food. Super atmosphere, great at helping to celebrate the birthday, all sang and clapped when they brought the cake with lit candles. Fabulous place and people. We love it! Been many times, all great. Lots to do and see outside too. ( one wee negative - we were only a bit uncomfortable when glasses and other items being cleared from our table whilst we were eating.)

We had our wedding at The Farmhouse at South Causey Inn and it was the most incredible experience. We planned everything in just 10 weeks, and the team, especially Steph and Stacey, were amazing at helping us pull it all together. They were calm, organised, and true experts at what they do. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we honestly felt like we were in the best hands. On the day itself, everything went perfectly. The whole team were fantastic, especially our coordinator Adam, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything looked and how lovely the staff were. We couldn’t have chosen a better location for our wedding. The venue, the team, the accommodation, and the food (which our friends are still talking about!) were all 10/10. If you’re looking for somewhere to host a wedding or event, you absolutely need to go here. Thank you again for the most amazing experience!

We really enjoyed our time here on a work group booking. The staff were fantastic, really helpful and friendly making the visit memorable. From the off we had a warm welcome and on leaving a warm goodbye. Clay pigeon shooting was fun and the people running it professional. The food was fantastic at both dinner and breakfast. There was a good selection of drinks and cocktails. The rooms were super clean and tidy with shower accessories. Room had tea and coffee facilities The bar area is cosy and has a good atmosphere. You can tell a lot of effort goes into making everything special here with people going the extra mile because they take pride in their work and on making the place a success, which it most certainly is Would definitely return for another warm welcome and fantastic stay

Came for my.partners birthday, third time we've been, love the hot tub suites! Dinner and breakfast was lovely, I enjoy making cocktails at home and your bramble and espresso Martini cocktails we're amazing, kudos to the bartender! But the midori splice cocktail was fantastic, will definitely give that one a try at home! All your staff are a fantastic asset to the company, they deserve so much praise! My family enjoyed a superb Sunday carvery and a variety of sweets. The carvery selection includes chicken, beef, belly pork and gammon. You can have one or more of the selection. It is accompanied by a delicious selection of vegetables and toasties and lashings of gravy. The prices are very reasonable and the setting is fabulous with a rustic theme. A special word for the staff who were very friendly and attentive. Thank you.

Stopped here with motorhome friday gone. paid £30 for one night,but you get a £20 voucher to use for drink or food in the inn. The meals looked delicious and Large portion sizes. Live entertainment on It was definitely one of the best car park we have ever stopped on. With views of carved sculptures of animals A selection of livestock Goats,turkeys,horses,lamas and more. With a great picnic area well maintained and ample seating. And the inn yards away. This is some size inn and is a must visit as it is beautiful inside. Great service from staff from start to finish. Disco Function in the Old Barn on 13/12/25 was very good. The meal that came with the function was exceptional. We both had the Roast Beef and Roast Turkey, with all the trimmings. It was outstanding, and could not be faulted. The staff were very efficient, professional and helpful. The room we were staying in, Room 14, was very clean, comfortable and warm, on what was a very cold night outside. The breakfast was excellent. The food was very hot, and the staff were also very efficient, professional and helpful.

Had a lovely day out for a family event. The service was excellent, the staff were professional, efficient and competent, but open, friendly and approachable. The venue was well appointed and spacious and the accommodation was very good. However, I want to talk about access. I can walk sometimes with a crutch, other times I have to use a wheelchair. The Old Barn is at the top of a flight of stairs, and while there is an 'accessible path' the gradient was such that it would be impossible for a nornal person to push a wheelchair to the top and very dangerous to attempt to push one down. I managed with my crutch and the support of others, but it was not easy. Inside the barn, the majority of seats were tall bar stools which I could not climb onto, and while there are a few sofas, they are away from the rest of the room and I could not get up from them unaided. There were no other alternatives, I cannot stand for long and I felt removed from the rest of our party. Don't get me wrong, this is a great venue and they do what they do really well, but it is not accessible.
